Crock Pot Hot Apple Cider

If you are still in a festive mood and you don't want Christmas to be over just yet, here is a drink that will make you feel all warm and cozy inside.
Crock Pot Hot Apple Cider is so easy to fix, you won't even have to lift a finger, the crock pot does all the work for you.

Crock pot hot apple cider or as a lot of people call it, "Wassail," is one of those popular drinks that is perfect for the holiday season. But also not just for the holiday season, it is also great for any cold winter day too. Because I was so busy during the holiday season, I never got a chance to make my favorite drink. And since the holiday rush is over with and I have a chance to relax, I thought about making my, what I like to call, "Christmas in a cup." You only need a few ingredients to make it. Here's the recipe:

2 qt. (8 cups) apple cider or apple juice
1/2 c. of cinnamon candies (choice of your kind)
1 tsp. of cinnamon
1 tsp. of ground cloves
A couple of orange rinds

Prep time: 5 min  Cook time: 2 hrs  Total time:  2 hrs. 5 min
Cooking Skill: Easy
Serves: 8 cups

Instructions:
Grab your crock pot out from the very back of your cabinet. Pour 2 qt. (8 cups) of apple cider or apple juice, 1/2 c. of your favorite cinnamon candies, 1 tsp. of cinnamon, 1 tsp. of ground cloves, and a couple of orange rinds. Crank your crock pot up to high and let it rip. Heat for about 2 hrs. Stir occasionally to keep the candies from sticking to the bottom.

Once it's done heating, grab a ladle and pour it into a festive cup. Sit in front of a cozy fire and enjoy.
